Right now, we're on the next step of writing religious content for your new religion, what I've just mentioned earlier, you can't have a core of your religious community without the actual content in your new religious content what you're actually creating. If you already read a chapter of a common Bible, or Quran, you can get an idea how it was actually written. But you can write it in multiple ways, you can have chapters with verses via subchapters, or paragraphs. It's up to you to write it your way. There's no wrong way to write religious content!
Writing The Content
It's like writing a book, you can write how the world is created via your religious community, and other content that is relevant. For example; the pirates are the first Pastafarians to appear on our world. You can also use your imagination as a way to make it spiritual. But it takes some time to write it down. You can have it as long as 20 chapters, or more. If your content is extremely detailed, it can generate a set of books in multiple volumes. That's more than enough to fill a shelf of books in your local library!
Within my experience, I prefer to use chapters and subchapters to sort all of the verses, and storylines. I usually use multiple paragraphs to detail all of the verses like a long book; writing this way is kind of like writing a normal book.
The Do's & Don'ts
Do write in a proper language. If you were developing a new language, setup a dictionary, or glossary.
Don't use any foul words, children should steer away from these bad words.
Do sort your content,--so followers don't be confused.
Don't mix up these verses.
Don't copyright your religious characters.
Don't trademark your religious characters, places, beings, and items.
Do write verses that condemn abuse.
Do keep all of your religious content organized. If you include images, always create your own from scratch.
Writing Verses Per Each Chapter
You can use colons, or decimal points to enable people to read verses easily. Traditionally, verses have a colon between the chapter number, and the verse number with an optional dash and number with it. If you want to use decimal points instead, experiment with it. When you sort out all of the verses like this... your religious text is easy to read. If you chosen to use paragraphs because, you name your verse as a chapter of a book, you can have a detailed version of your verses in your religious content. You can use images, text, or both. If you were writing as a group, you can take turns writing verses, it can be fast, but you have to setup guidelines to keep your standards current. If any of your members use any foul words, remove them immediately!
You can write verses via a dedicated paragraph like a traditionnal Bible, or Quran. This traditional route is simple, but each verse is read like a normal Bible. If you use chapters instead, you can add as much paragraphs if you want. The more paragraphs within a verse, the better is detailed. More detail means more information. Most verses are less detailed in most religious content. If you like long books, you can write long verses.
The following table describes the advantages, and drawbacks of any verse formats:
Format | Example: | Advantage | Drawback |
---|---|---|---|
Paragraph (traditional) |
12:9-21 The sailor has ridden a sea horse to reach the wet world to spare the life of a mermaid who is trapped in a plastic junk came from the trash dump who was accountable for harming the oceans. The people has condemned polluting seas as a threat to our water system. People should avoid all crude oil and plastic products at all costs. The another sailor hitches a ride on a mermaid to escape from the plastic trap, the mermaids enable him to retrive all of the plastic to help clean the oceans! |
This is a traditional format, found in all religious content. |
Very less detail, but this is normal for some religious content |
Chapter Format |
There was a malicious hunter who always eat meat, and this guy is like a bear monster who is actually a rabbit-eating beast. The Fairling is riding his bunny as a mode of transport to traverse the ground. The large white rabbit isn't just a villager, but a protected animal who is protected against being eaten or killed,--or slaughtered for other products. Anninne is the known fairy who is flying towards the garden. And she has to stop the bear monster, Ahmed. She has to use her wand to stop him."Don't kill this rabbit," Anninne yelled, "she's not our source of food." The bear monster has been startled by Anninne, and he's a powerful sin who refuses to listen to her. |
This is extremely detailed! You can detail all of these verses because, that enables anyone around the world to understand your new religion, and your religious content. This is a modern format what you can use to help lengthen verses without needing to write long paragraphs. That can bundle all of your content into one chapter. |
It takes more writing, and it takes years to fully write all of these verses, if written like a story, it may look like a normal book. |
If you have extremely long verses via chapters, and you added more detail to it, it can be almost like spiritually teaching someone. Most verses in religious content are short, and they have less detail.
Overtime you may have a large book file on your computer, or you may have to write multiple volumes in written text.
