My thoughts of starting my own store in Nicodemus, Kansas

Days ago, my neighbors at the 5 villa unit has been discussing about starting their own business in Nicodemus, KS. I have thoughts of running my own store in this small town. But I believe running our own stores in a small town can help this town grow back, and bring back this black community. This community is usually small today, but it can take some time for us to resettle in this town. But this town has some empty land, and it has very little amount of people who live in this town. This is common for small cities where there's few people.

Living Without SNAP Benefits? Watch Out!

For the past years; I read blogs and news articles about SNAP fraud caused by Muslim store owners who traded SNAP benefits for cash, using a SNAP card to restock stores, and even traded each dollar amount when executed by a person at the register. These stores has been banned from processing SNAP benefits because these store owners has been involved in fraud.

Swimming At A Public Pool In Hill City

Two days ago; I was enjoying my time at a swimming pool in Hill City, Kansas. This pool has a water slide what you can use to slide down. This pool is your landing spot, but you can get wet as you land. Since I've enjoyed going to the pool; I thought of coming back to this place next year.

Reusing My Unused LG K3 2017 Phone As A Tablet

I decided to make use of my unused mobile phone. And I decided to use it as a tablet. I can use it for other uses such as: taking photos, videos, and recording audio content. I do have a plan to use it as a dedicated device for my projects in the future. I once used it to take pictures of my work when I was at work in Salina, Kansas since Jan. 9, 2018. I do have these pictures on my server, and they're used for displaying images on my websites. I usually get help from a visual person to take these daunting pictures when uploading to my server. I can use my unused phone for testing out websites, make videos, and taking small notes. However; I'm still using my phone as an alarm clock to wake myself up. What's the purpose of me having an unused phone laying in my computer carrier? That's when I decided to reuse it to prevent it from becoming junk. It still works because, it was rarely used. The drawback is; I can't swap carriers on my unused phone. This is kind of an issue for my experience on the internet on the go. But I had a Motorola mobile phone that is my new phone that is used for everyday use.

Since I can use wireless networks via a local wireless connection... I can use my old unused phone as a dedicated recording device for making videos in the future, but I have to rely on a strong internet connection to do it.

My thoughts of using an unused mobile phone with a dedicated purpose is kind of like reducing waste, and reducing costs.

Let's pretend your newer phone is your default primary mobile phone, and your older units are used as dedicated devices what you can use to reduce costs:

Use your unused mobile phone as a videocamera

Now these days, apps has taken many phones to the next level. You can use your old mobile phone as a videocamera because, many people often upload videos on YouTube. You can make videos without needing to have a bulky videocamera. You don't need tapes, CDs, DVDs, or even film to make a video. Your mobile phone has storage what you can expand with an SD card dedicated for making videos. If you dedicated one of your old phones for making videos, you can use it for amatuer videos, amatuer TV shows, and more. Since it's lightweight; you can place your device in your pocket for later, but you have to be careful when making videos because, sometimes, your phone gets full so quick.

Use it as an audio-recording device

Looking for your cassette-recording device? And you had trouble recording content what you create from scratch... your mobile phone can be your cassette-recording device, and you don't need any tapes! Your phone's memory is your invisible tape, but some people like the sound of tapes because, they're warmer than digital content. You can use your phone as a dictation device, or a music recorder for your amatuer content. This is useful if you wanted to make audio recordings.

Whether if you don't have a cassette-recorder, you can use your old unused mobile phone as a recording device.

TV

You can use your phone as a TV if you are cutting the cord to save money. Newer phones can do this, but your internet is vital because, you can go beyond cable. Pluto TV is the known service for free TV with an optional account. This is useful if you wanted to rely on free versions of TV when cutting the cord. I tried out this app, and it was amazing. This is useful if you wanted to use the internet altogether. There are many TV apps out there, but there are still many ways to use your unused mobile phone.

Use As An Alarm Clock

This is useful if your alarm clock stopped working, or your alarm clock is hidden in your cluttered storage facility. You can have multiple alarms on your phone as reminders, activity reminders, or anything you like to use with this alarm clock app. This old phone has done things better than a new version of your newer phone. I decided to take care of it seriously, and use it when needed. The alarm app built to this phone is designed to be used as a timer too!
